There has been some serious issues with Skype and email marketing software, this is because of the installation of the Skype toolbar with your Internet browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox).

The Skype toolbar automatically inserts code into the email to convert phone numbers to have the skyp number in also. The side effects of this can range from mild to very severe.

In the most severe cases, it can cause the html email to lose all structure and also make it impossible for the emails to get delivered to inboxes.

To remedy this problem you must go into your tools option in your browser and disable the skype toolbar as this is the only way to ensure that the code won't get re-entered into the html campaign.

Go into your browser and select the "view" drop down menu then go to the toolbars option. Remove the Skype toolbar to prevent the code from being inserted in future emails.
